Sanitary Products

These include organic sanitary product distribution. Products such as organic pads, organic tampons, organic panty liners and organic menstrual cups.

 

Sanitary education

This involves re-education around menstrual hygiene and sanitation, the long and short term effects related to period poverty, and de-stigmatisation of periods as making girls unclean. iii) Sanitary Dialogues This will be a platform that provides young girls an opportunity to speak and share the challenges and experiences that they are faced with regarding period poverty. Addressing the scourge of absenteeism caused by period poverty, the risk of high pregnancy, exposure to HIV and STD’s for girls who have to depend on sexual partners to gain access to sanitary necessities.
